Sheila Neidlinger Weddon, 69, of Statesboro, Georgia went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 9, 2013.She was surrounded by her loving husband and children as she departed this earthly world.

Sheila was born in Savannah, Georgia, on March 4, 1944 and grew up in Waynesboro, Georgia where she spent most of her life. She graduated from Barrett School of Nursing in Augusta, Georgia as a Registered Nurse, and devoted many years caring for and loving the residents of her health care facilities.Sheila was also an alumna initiate of her daughter's sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi. Sheila was a caring and loving wife and mother, and a compassionate and committed healthcare provider. To all of us, Sheila was more than a wife and Mother. She was a friend, confidant, and world traveler (preferably by cruise ship). She sometimes spoke her own language, "Sheila-isms," which we all enjoyed hearing. She enjoyed planting flowers and watching them grow and blossom, just as she cherished seeing her children grow into the fine adults they have become. If you knew Sheila, you know she lived life to the fullest. She is now on the greatest and most grand cruise of her life.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Nell DeLoach, her Daddy, Allen DeLoach, and her Father, Edward Neidlinger.Survivors include her husband Wayne, brothers Jimmy and Freddie, sons Michael, Jeffery (Jamie), and Steve (Barbara),daughter "Little" Sheila (Wes), 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and her beloved Maxwell..
