Sadie Alisa Burke Tyre

Sadie Alisa Burke Tyre, 63, of Orange Park, FL, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2023. She was born in Millen, GA, to Jesse and Louise Burke. Those who knew Alisa, knew she was a true animal lover and treated her pets like children. There was not a stray animal she came across that she didn’t help in some way. Alisa also adored her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Alisa is survived by her daughter, April Bayes (Derek); brothers, Paul Burke (Stacey) and Jay Burke (Laurie); grandchildren, Alison (Ryan) and Madelyn; and several cousins.

A memorial service will be held 1:00pm Saturday, February 18 at First Baptist Church of Midville, GA with Rev. Daryl Cox officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions in Alisa’s memory be made to The Roland Senior Dog Rescue Sanctuary, 5435 Painted Pony Ave Melrose, FL 32666 or the American Cancer Society Liver Cancer Research.
