William D. Robinson

William D. Robinson, 85, entered into rest Wednesday, January 4, 2023. He was born in Omaha, NE and has been a resident of Burke County since 1981. He was a member of Botsford Baptist Church and loved the church and his church family. In his earlier years, he enjoyed hunting. William worked as a pipefitter and welder at jobsites all over the county. His was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ellen Robinson; his wife of 47 years, Jeannette Yarborough Robinson, and two brothers, Frederick and Thomas Robinson.

He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Robinson Jeffers (Michael); two sons, Rev. William D. Robinson, Jr. (Ava) and Michael S. Robinson; seven grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia Robinson Davis.

Graveside Services will be held 11:00am Friday, January 6 at Botsford Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Mike Dann officiating.
