Willena Etheridge Josey

Willena Etheridge Josey went to be with her Lord Friday, June 12, 2026 in Savanah, Ga. She was born in Oglethorpe, Ga and was the daughter of the late Wiley Albert Etheridge and Wilma Mae Etheridge.

For the past thirteen years she has attended Skidaway Island Methodist Church in Savannah, Ga. Previously she was a member of Midville Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great Grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, painting, sewing, and she loved her family dearly. She was married to her beloved husband, Ronald Josey, for 62 years until his passing in 2013.

Willena is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Tucker [Tommy], and her son Ron Josey [Pam]. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Frank Tucker [Molly] and Ryan Josey [Shelby], as well as three great grandchildren, Magnolia Tucker, Finn Tucker and Ashton Josey.

In addition to her husband and parents, Willena was predeceased by her sister Virginia Davis [Charles].

Graveside Service will be Tuesday 11:00 am June 16th 2026 at the Louisville City Cemetery in Louisville, Ga, with Dr Sandra Kennedy officiating.

Flowers are being accepted; however, memorials may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital or Samaritan’s Purse
