W.H. "Dub" Harper, Jr.

January 7, 1931 — July 8, 2020

W.H. "Dub" Harper, Jr., 89, entered into rest Wednesday, July 8, 2020. He was a son of the late Fannie McNorrill and William H. Harper, Sr. and was a native and lifelong resident of Burke County. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waynesboro. He retired from Capital City Bank and was the former President of the Bank of Waynesboro. Dub was a member of the GA Board of Public Safety and was a former Chairman of the Development Authority of Burke County. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lynn Harper; and his brother, Ray Harper.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie D. Harper; his son, William H. "Dub" Harper III (Cindy); and two granddaughters, Jennifer Harper and Katherine Harper.

Graveside Services will be 11:00am Saturday, July 11 at Burke Memorial Gardens with Harry Coursey officiating.

Remembrances may be made to the Center For New Beginnings.
