Walter Moody "Buddy" Hammock, Jr., 51, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015. He was a lifelong resident of Girard, GA and attended SGA High School. He was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church. He was owner and operator of Hammock Tree Surgeons.

He is survived by his father, Walter M. Hammock, Sr.; a sister, AnnMarie Vickery (Grover) of Girard; two brothers, Johnny Hammock (Camilla) of Girard and Billy Hammock of Girard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be 4pm Wednesday, December 23 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Fincannon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
