Vonnie E. Hance 72, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Keysville Nursing Home. Mr. Hance was a native of Newport, Tennessee and a resident of Burke County since 1982. He was retired from the IBEW, member of Bethel Baptist Church and had a passion for playing music, singing and writing songs.
Surviving are, his wife Ginny Lynn S. Hance of Waynesboro, his sons, James Hance and wife Temple of Mt. Vernon, Ga. and Daniel Hance and wife Amy of Sardis; he sister, Virginia Hance Dyke of Greenback, TN.; his brother-in-law, Gary Spade and wife Debra of Corryton, TN., his sister-in-law, Shelia Perkins and husband Robert of Powell, TN.; his grandchildren, Nathan Hance of Statesboro, Rebecca Jace and husband Devin of Brunswick and Anna Hance of Mt. Vernon; his nephews, Michael Roth and wife Olivia, Gary Lynn Perkins and Matt Perkins and wife Kaycee.
Visitation will be Friday, July 19, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2019 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Matt Shryock officiating with burial to follow in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be Eddie Williams, Gary Jenkins, Daniel Jenkins, Rob Sizemore, Mike Chance and Joey Phillips.
