Shirley P. Northcutt

Shirley P. Northcutt, 90, entered into rest Wednesday, August 31, 2022. She was a member of Botsford Baptist Church where she had been a member of the Silver & Gold Sunday School Class and Women on Mission. She was always ready to help someone and had to stay busy doing something. She was a dedicated and hard worker. She loved her family very much. She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and Gorman Phillips; her husband, Cordell H. Northcutt; two children, Cordell Northcutt, Jr. and Joyce Ann Northcutt; two brothers, Tommy and Jack Phillips; and a son-in-law, Dale Allen.

She is survived by four children, Jean Probus (Charles) of Augusta, Lynn Flakes (James) of Waynesboro, Gale Allen of Waynesboro, and Mark Northcutt (Leslie) of Waynesboro; six grandchildren, Jeanne Sharpe of Waynesboro, Kevin Flakes of Waynesboro, Travis Flakes of Waynesboro, Lauren Dixon of Girard, Aubrey Northcutt of Waynesboro, and Brooke Allen of Waynesboro; many great grandchildren; and a brother, Donald Phillips of Salisbury, MD.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am Saturday, September 3 at Botsford Baptist Church. Graveside Services will immediately follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Mike Dann and Kevin Flakes officiating.
