Shane Odell Bower

Mr. Bower was a native of Augusta and was a resident of Richmond and Burke County most of his life. He was presently employed as the Assistant Director of Maintenance and an Environmental Hygienist with the Richmond County Board of Education. He also was the owner and operator of Bower's Lawn Care for the past 21 years. He was currently enrolled at Georgia Tech, a member of the George Walton Masonic Lodge 699 in Augusta and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are, his wife Karen Lynn Bower of Waynesboro, his daughter, Kaleigh Bower Smith and her husband Rusty of Hephzibah, his step-daughter, Bonnie Cutlip Chopra and her husband Varun of Augusta, his mother, Sandra Bower of Augusta, his paternal grandmother, Marjorie Bower of Augusta and numerous cousins.
A Memorial Service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Janet Odegard officiating. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service.
