Peggy Hannah Furry

Peggy Hannah Furry, age 74, of Waynesboro, Ga, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. She was born on December 16, 1951, in Augusta, GA and was a beloved daughter of the late William Hubert and Alma Brunson Hannah. She grew up in Waynesboro, attended Waynesboro High, and later worked as a beautician and held various other jobs throughout her life. Peggy was a devoted mother to her three sons. She also enjoyed outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with her close friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Reddick.

She is survived by her three sons, Don Milo Quick, Jr. (Tosha), Patrick Lee Quick, and Joseph Hannah Quick (Christy); her grandchildren, Hannah Toy, Austin Quick, Ryan Quick, Maci Quick, Lee Quick, Millie Quick, and Leighton Quick; her sisters, Beverly Life, Gloria Brantley, and Dianne Hillis; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Friday, March 6 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Saturday, March 7 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Andy Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Austin Quick, Ryan Quick, Leighton Quick, Lee Quick, Colin Quick, Dustin Quick, and Garrett Quick.

Peggy will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.
