Mrs. Robbie Lee Newsome

Robbie Lee Newsome, 82, entered into rest Thursday, March 26, 2026. She was born in Gough and has been a lifelong resident of Burke County. She was a member of Gough Baptist Church. Robbie worked as a 6th grade paraprofessional for 15 years. She loved taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and Jim Johnson.

She is survived by three children, Clay Newsome (Tina) of Jeffersonville, GA, Candy Johnson and Cindy Frazier both of Waynesboro; four granddaughters, Amanda Frazier of Lincoln, NE, Amber Johnson, Hillary Casarez (Juan) , and Robyn Johnson all of Waynesboro; and two great grandsons, Lucas and Damian Casarez.

Graveside Services will be held 10:00am Tuesday, March 31 at Rose Dhu cemetery with Chris Mobley officiating.
