Merilyn M. Golden

Waynesboro-Mrs. Merilyn M. Golden, 91 passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Brentwood Terrace Health Center. Mrs. Golden was a native and longtime resident of Augusta. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Augusta and later attended Rosemont Baptist Church in Waynesboro. She was the owner and operator of the Idle Hour Florist in Augusta.
Mrs. Golden was preceded in death by her husband, Colvin L. Golden.
Surviving are, her son, Kris Golden and wife Debbie of North Augusta, her daughter, Yvonne Chambers of Waynesboro, her grandchildren, Stephen Golden, Austen Chambers and wife, Jennifer, Ashley Chambers, Amber Chambers and one great grandchild, Ashten Chambers.
Graveside Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in Westover Memorial Park with the Rev. Wes Lawson officiating.
