Waynesboro, GA. - Mrs. Lynne Lentz Jackson, 61, entered into rest Saturday, March 16, 2013. She was born in Macon, Georgia on October 28, 1951 and lived most of her life in Burke County. She was employed by the Burke County School System for many years and at Del-Mac for several years. Lynne was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Lentz.
She is survived by a daughter, Ashley Heatwole (Ivan), a son, Jody Jackson, mother, Louise Lentz, two grandchildren, Nikki Taylor (Josh), and Myles Heatwole, two great grandchildren, Makayla Quick and Joscelyn Quick, sister, Anne Strickland, brother, Mark Lentz, sister, Amy Higgins, several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Donald Thames.
Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18th at the funeral home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Rev. Tom Tidwell and Rev. Wayne Dixon will officiate.
Flowers are accepted; however, memorials may be made to Bethesda United Methodist Church.
