He is survived by a sister, Katherine Mullis of Hephzibah; a brother, Dearl Newsome of Blythe; a son, Michael Bartlett of Hephzibah; a daughter, Michelle Rickerson of Greenville, SC; and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.
A memorial gathering will be held at the funeral home from 6:00 - 8:00pm Thursday, December 7, 2017 with military honors starting at 6:00pm. NEW LOCATION: DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 220 East 6th Street, Waynesboro, GA 30830 (706-554-3531)
