Julian "Butch" H. Martin, Sr.

March 19, 1947 — September 7, 2016

Hephzibah, GA- Julian H. Martin, Sr. "Butch", 69, entered into rest Wednesday, September 7, 2016, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family. He was a veteran of the US Army and has spent most of his life in this area. He was a member of Calvary Tabernacle Church in Waynesboro. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Eva Martin; a son, Lester Martin, Sr.; a brother, Eugene Martin; and a sister, Edna Hill.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sarah Martin; three sons, Julian Martin, Jr. (Theresa L.), Steven Martin, Sr., and Robert Martin all of Hephzibah; four grandchildren, Amanda Martin, Steven Martin, Jr. (Marissa), Lester Martin, Jr., and Julian Martin III; three great grandchildren, Jack, Milo, and Brooklyn; and a special daughter-in-law, Theresa Anderson Martin.

Memorial Services will be 11am Sunday, September 11 at Calvary Tabernacle Church in Waynesboro. Rev. Russell Folger will officiate.
