Johnsie Ellis Shaw

Johnsie Ellis Shaw, 69, entered into rest Monday, October 28, 2024. He was born in Kanawha, WV to the late Arlie and Alfred Shaw and has been a resident of Burke County since 2005. He was a Mason and a member of the Carpenter’s Local Union 283. Johnsie loved to fish and garden. He was a simple kind of man, who was very friendly and well loved.

He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Nancy Shaw; a daughter, April Shaw of West Virginia; a son, Shane Shaw of West Virginia; two stepdaughters, Renee Caudill of Florida and Heather Banning of Tennessee; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

No services will be held at this time.
