James B. Hutchinson, Jr., 79, entered into rest Friday, October 1, 2021. He was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church. His favorite pastime was watching his grandchildren play sports, watching the Braves, and going fishing and family was his top priority. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. James and Edna Hutchinson; and two siblings.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Lynette Hutchinson; a son, Chris Hutchinson (Mandy) of Waynesboro; and three grandchildren, Kayla Hutchinson, Gray Hutchinson, and Sydney Baker all of Waynesboro.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, October 4 at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, October 5 at Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Bohling officiating.
