Hiram Asa Mooneyham, Jr., 83, entered into rest Tuesday, July 21, 2020. He was a native of Siloam, GA, a longtime resident of Prattville, AL and moved to Midville, GA in 2003. He was a retired pipefitter and was the owner operator of A1 Muffler in Prattville, AL. Hiram was a member and deacon of the Midville First Baptist Church, was a veteran of the US Navy and was a Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents Bertie and Hiram Asa Mooneyham, Sr.; and three sons, Scotty Mooneyham, Asa Mooneyham, and Johnny Flakes

He survived by his wife Evelyn Bunn of Midville; three daughters, Carol Bunn Lawler of Vidalia, Sybil Flakes Brown of Dearing, and Darlene Flakes Godwin of Bismarck, AR; a son, Roger Flakes of Dearing; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Simpson of Burlington, NC and Elaine Hilton of Midville.

Graveside Services will be 11:00 am Thursday, July 23 at Burke Memorial Gardens with Rev. Daryl Cox officiating.

Remembrances may be made to the Midville First Baptist Church.
