Harry B Whitehead

August 2, 1937 — April 5, 2013

Midville, GA- Harry B. Whitehead, Jr., 75, passed away to be with his Lord Friday, April 5, 2013 with his loving family at his side. He proudly served his country in the US Navy for over 30 years. He served one term as mayor of Midville. Mr. Whitehead was very involved in and devoted to the refurbishing of the old Bark Camp Church in Midville. He was a member of Midville First Baptist Church where he was a choir member. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Marice Quick Whitehead.

He is survived by 2 children, Michael B. Whitehead (Nina) and Michelle Ann Frost (Jimmy); and 3 grandsons, Brandon Whitehead (Debra), Cameron Frost, and Steven Frost.

The funeral service will be held at 2pm on Monday, April 8th at Midville First Baptist Church. Dr. Terry Quick and Dr. Ray Freeman will officiate. Interment will follow at Bark Camp Church Cemetery with full military honors. Mr. Dwayne Blackburn will serve as a honorary pallbearer.

Flowers are being accepted; however, memorials may be made to Midville First Baptist Church, PO Box 408, Midville, GA 30441.
