Grace Crockett Quick

Grace Crockett Quick, 90, departed her earthly home for her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the home of her daughter, Crystal. She was born on April 01, 1935, to the late Annie Laurie McNorrill Crockett and the late William Evans Crockett, Sr. of Waynesboro, GA.

Grace was a homemaker and a mother of six. She was happiest spending time with her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing piano, cooking, sewing, cross-stitching which she shared with the family. She also enjoyed watching the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. She was an avid reader. Grace was also a member of Crossbridge Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Quick, Sr; brothers: William Evans “Bubba” Crockett Jr. and Robert “Wayne” Crockett; sister-in-law: Johnie Crockett; and great grandson: David Jacob “DJ” Johnson. 

She is survived by her children: Denise Daniel Johnson, Angela Daniel Taylor (John), Crystal Bales, Lori Anne Bales, Harold “Hal” Quick (Tamara), and Laurie Quick Hillis; her stepchildren: Judy Mullins and Audrey Quick; grandchildren: Gina, Tiffany, Eric, Amanda, Affsheen, Joshua, Brooke, Paula, Zachary, Grace, and Holden; step grandchildren: Robert, Richard, Jason, Joe, Jimmy, Charlotte, and Michael;19 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Linda D. Crockett; and many loved nieces and nephews. The family will have a private celebration of life in the spring. The family would like to express our sincere gratitude to: Lena Gartrell, Ashton Boyles Reid, Hope Kooring, Amanda “Mandy” Crawford, Steve Ledwith, and Chaplain Cliff Pugh of Enhabit Hospice for their kindness and loving care of our mother during her long hospice journey.
