Berkley, MI. - Mr. Franklin O. Hill, age 78, a 45 year resident of Berkley, MI , passed away Friday, October 16th, 2009 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. Franklin was born January 16, 1931 in Augusta, GA to the late Marion and Alice Hill. Franklin was a truck driver for the construction industry for most of his working life.

Survivors are his wife, Sara, whom he married on June 16th, 1953; daughter, Kathy E. Hill of Key West, Florida; son Franklin D. (Dawn) Hill of Hazel Park, MI; six loving grandchildren; eight dear great grandchildren and his sister, Margaret Elliott of Waynesboro, GA.

Funeral Services were held in Berkley, Michigan at Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home, (248-398-6500). A private burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery in Waynesboro, GA.
