Frances Quick Fuchs, 89, entered into rest Monday, September 1, 2025. She was one of eleven children born to the late Beulah and Patrick Quick. She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in John’s Island, SC and loved her church. Frances loved living in Charleston and lived in the house that “The Notebook” was filmed at. She enjoyed decorating and helping others. Frances had a servant’s heart and loved her family dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, her husband, Albert Fuchs; four brothers, Russell Quick, Lovett Quick, Danny Quick, and Joseph Quick; and two sisters, Dorothy Moore and Patricia Beasley.
She is survived by two sons, Gene Scott (Patti) and Randy Scott (Stephanie) both of Waynesboro; five grandchildren, Ashley Liles (Derrick), Bobby Scott (Courtney), Lauren Scott, Abby Scott, and Cliff Scott all of Waynesboro; five great grandchildren, Grant Liles (Skylar), Garrett Liles, Brigham Scott, Bella Scott, and Emma Shaw Holland; a special daughter, Renee Ellenberger of Columbia, SC; four siblings, Annie Roy Mead of Waynesboro, Don Quick of Waynesboro, Judy Babb of Waynesboro, and Grace Gilliam of Shreveport, LA; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Friday, September 5 at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be held 3:00pm Saturday, September 6 at St. John’s Episcopal Cemetery in John’s Island, SC.
