Faye Horton 63, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 13, 2019 at University Hospital. She was a native and longtime resident of Burke County more recently a resident of Thomson. She was a retired dispatcher from the Harlem Police department and formerly worked for the Burke County EMA and the Waynesboro Police Department. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Waynesboro. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
Surviving are, her daughters, Heather Thaxton and Melissa Horton both of Thomson; her brothers, Nicky DeLaigle, Donald Wilson; her sisters, Lisa Thomas, Linda Ryle, and Kitty Quick all of Waynesboro; two grandchildren, Savannah Thaxton and Justin Thaxton and numerous nieces nephews.
Memorial Services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Frank Waits officiating
