Donna L. Knight

Donna L. Knight, 59, entered into rest Tuesday, October 17, 2023. She was born in Augusta to Sherbert Horsley and the late Rita Killoran and has been a resident of Burke County for many years. She was a member of Botsford Baptist Church and was currently employed at the office of Richard Bailey, CPA. Donna was an avid outdoorswoman, who loved to hunt and fish. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her husband of 9 years, Mike Knight; five children, Jimmy DeLaigle (fiancé Nikki) of Hephzibah, Jenny Drake (Bobby) of Evans, DeRossie “Trey” DeLaigle III (Madison) of Waynesboro, Levi Wyrick (Stephanie) of Waynesboro, and Nickie Knight of Keysville; 17 grandchildren; two sisters, Diane Adams (John) of Hephzibah and Debra James of NC; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Monday, October 23 at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, October 24 at the Knight Family Cemetery in St. Clair with Bill Lively officiating.

Remembrances may be made to the Burke County Animal Shelter.
