Donald Edward "Eddy" Segrest, Jr.

Mr. Donald Edward “Eddy” Segrest, Jr., 63, went home to Heaven on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. He was born on November 4, 1962, in Thomson, GA to the late Donald and Joyce Segrest. He was a 1980 graduate of Trinity Christian School in Waynesboro, GA. Eddy was a member of New Beginnings Community Baptist Church in Augusta. He was mechanic and had also worked in installing flooring. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, R.V. and Ruby Segrest and Robert and Sadie Bolton; aunts and uncles, Ralph and June Segrest, Robert Segrest, and Joyce Oyler.

He is survived by his children, Brian Segrest (Jessi) of Vidette, GA and Karen Boylan (Pat) of Pendleton, SC; his sister, Heather Bentley (Brian) of Augusta; his girlfriend, Stephanie Jackson of Augusta; his grandchildren, Sasha, Noah, and Winry Segrest and Brantlee and Collins Boylan; his nephews, Brandon and Brady Bentley; aunts and uncles, Madison Bolton (Lisa) of Thomson, William Segrest (Donna) of Waynesville, NC, and Kay Segrest of Shorter, AL; and numerous cousins.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, May 1 at Rose Dhu Cemetery in Vidette. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
