Sardis, GA- Deloris June Murray Smith, 79, entered into rest Friday, February 19, 2016. She was born on January 13, 1937 to the late Marguerite and Alton Murray. She was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church. Deloris was a homemaker and child care provider, who was a "beloved MeMa to every child in Sardis". In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Bubba Smith and a grandson, Dale Saxon.

She is survived by four children, Vickie Saxon (Roger), Joy Conner (Preston), Patti Scott (Gene), and Al Smith (Scarlet); 10 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Jenkins (L.V.) and Sandra McLaughlin (Bruce); and a niece, Dr. Bonnie Jenkins.

The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Saturday, February 20 at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be 3pm Sunday, February 21 at St. Mark Cemetery in Sardis, GA with Rev. Mark Joyner officiating. Pallbearers will be Bobby Scott, Lee Smith, Michael Gibbens, Sean Conner, Tim Carey, and Derrick Liles.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made Brentwood Terrace Health and Rehab Center, PO Box 907, Waynesboro, GA 30830.
