C. J. was preceded in death by his grandmother, Anna Pezeda; great grandmother, Minnie Pezeda; and his aunt, Pamela Veighy.
Survivors include his mother Leah Upshaw Tucker and her husband Sandy of Brunswick, GA; his father Charles Gitzen of Rockport, NY; his stepfather Chris Upshaw of Evans, GA; his sister Chelsea Gitzen, Tacoma, WA; his brother Joshua Upshaw, Evans, GA; his brother Cameron Gitzen of Hamlin, NY; his maternal grandfather Ronald Pezeda of Chicope, MA; his step maternal grandmother Tina McCarthy; his aunt Debbie Kubetin (Chet) and cousins Christopher and Chet.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am Sunday, December 6, 2015, at Maranatha Community Church. Reverend Cesar Brooks will officiate.
