C. J. "Bobby" Stewart

December 28, 1930 — September 5, 2021

C.J. "Bobby" Stewart, 90, entered into rest Sunday, September 5, 2021. He was born in Wayne County and has been a longtime resident of Burke County. He was a member of Rosemont Baptist Church, a member of Lewis Hunting Club and began the Burke County School Bus Driver's Association. He retired as the owner operator of Waynesboro Upholstery and was a retired bus driver.

Bobby was an avid fisherman and loved people. He was preceded in death his parents, Myrtle and Jessie Stewart; three brothers; and his beloved dog, Prissy.

He is survived by two sons, Mike Stewart (Glynis) of Richmond Hill and Mickey Stewart (Lisa) of Waynesboro; three daughters, Carla Whitton (Danny) of Waynesboro, Terri Williford (Tommy) of Waynesboro, and Jerrell Bailey (John) of Douglas; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Remembrances may be made to Rosemont Baptist Church Vision Fund.
