Brian Preston Hensley

Mr. Brian Preston Hensley, 66, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026. Born in Augusta, GA, he graduated from North Augusta High School with the class of 1978. Brian had a great appreciation for all things musical, culinary, and the greater outdoors. 

Brian became a skilled and admired carpenter, with an unmatched eye for attention to detail right down to the most minuscule. He had recently retired from Looper Cabinet Company in Evans, GA, with over 30 years of dedicated work. 

His quiet, kind, and generous nature fostered a welcoming environment to all who were fortunate enough to experience it. 

He is gone too soon and will be dearly missed. 

Brian is survived by: his son, Preston Hensley; daughter, Avery Carter (Chase); granddaughters, Charley and Olivia Carter; mother, Wandra Hensley; brother, George Hensley, Jr. (Renea); sister, Guwan Creeden (Danny); and 2 nieces and 1 nephew. 

Memorial Services will be held 11:00am Saturday, January 24, 2026, in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
