Bobbie Nell Jenkins

May 1, 1935 — January 1, 2026

Bobbie Nell Jenkins, 90, of Waynesboro, passed away peacefully at her home on January 1, 2026. She was born on May 1, 1935, to the late Clifford Lewis Harbin and Vera Pauline Sapp Harbin. Known lovingly as Mimi, she was the heart of her family, loving deeply and giving generously to all who knew her. Nothing brought her more joy than time spent with those she loved—whether through her cherished crafts, lovingly prepared family meals, or the simple gift of togetherness. Her long and devoted marriage of 73 years to her beloved husband was a beautiful example of commitment, faithfulness, and enduring love, and it remained one of her greatest blessings throughout her life. After her career at Farm Credit, she retired as branch manager. She was a member of the Sunshine Sunday School Class at Rosemont Baptist Church, held several leadership positions at the Town and Country Women’s Club, and was a member of a local investment club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Richard Jenkins; grandson, Brian Mobley; and brother, Clifford Lewis Harbin, Jr.

Survivors include; daughters, Deborah Ann Mobley, Donna G English (Kenneth), Sheryl J Quick (David); grandchildren, Stan Mobley (Millie), Blaine Marshall, Neely Lee (Jackson), Ryan Quick (Melissa), Lauren Hice (Tanner); great grandchildren, Millie Jane Mobley, Brin Mobley, Brooks Mobley, Noah Kate Mobley, Joe Mobley, Maddie Grace Holland, Kayson Marshall, Maddox Lee, Austyn Lee, Lila Cate Quick, Ella Anne Quick, Hank Hice, Charley Hice; brother, Franklin Harbin (Ann); sister-in-law, Patricia Jenkins; nieces, Dr. Bonnie Jenkins, Lisa Shrum, Lori Messick, Paula Eaton, Pam Garrett, and Dianne Latham; nephews, Frank Harbin and Steve Harbin.

The family wishes to extend a very special thanks to St. Josephs Hospice, Anita Dunson, Christine Walker, Vicky Bates, and Lena Royal for helping care for Mimi.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00am, Saturday, January 3rd, at Rosemont Baptist Church with the Reverend Mike Flowers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Burke Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Stan Mobley, Ryan Quick, Brin Mobley, Brooks Mobley, Maddox Lee, Jackson Lee, and Tanner Hice.
