Audrey Gladin

Audrey Gladin, 89, departed for her Heavenly home on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. She was born in Midville, GA to the late Willie Ruben and Aud Brinson Stevens and was a longtime resident of Wadley, GA. She was married to Jack Harris Gladin for 42 years until his passing in 2003. They were blessed with a daughter, Kimberly Renee Gladin, and twin sons, Perry Lance Gladin and Kerry Vance Gladin. Audrey was a licensed practical nurse and worked at Jefferson Hospital and Glendale Nursing Home. She was a member of the Wadley Baptist Church for 84 years. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Willie R. Stevens, Jr. and Carl Stevens; and a sister, Iris S. Scarboro.

She is survived by her children; 10 grandchildren; and a brother, Herman Heyward Stevens of Springfield, GA.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, August 7 at the Wadley Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be 3:00pm Saturday, August 8 at the Wadley Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Taylor and Rev. David Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the Wadley City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons Cameron Chalker, Codey Taylor, T.J. Taylor, her nephews, Edward Hall, Mark Stevens, and Chris Stevens.

Memorials may be made to Wadley Baptist Church in Audrey’s memory.
