He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Whisnant and son-in-law, Ronnie Whisnant, of Hephzibah; two sisters, Elsie DeLaigle of Waynesboro and Ellen Tapley of Alma, GA; three step-daughters, Debbie Perry of Wrens, Wanda Colone of Ellaville, and Brenda Martin of Waynesboro; nine grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, February 19, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at DeLoach-McKerley Funeral Home.
The Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 20, at the funeral home with Rev. Wayne Dixon officiating.
