Albert Daniel Meeks

April 29, 1944 — February 14, 2026

Albert Daniel Meeks, 81, entered into rest Saturday, February 14, 2026, at his home in Waynesboro.

A lifelong resident of Burke County, he retired from Augusta Newsprint after 40 years and then served the Burke County State Court for over 20 years, first as the supervisor of Community Service and then as Director of Accountability Courts. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm to 2:00pm Wednesday, February 18 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, February 18 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Keith Cox and Greg Coursey officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens.
