Alan “Lukie” Stokes, 67, entered into rest Sunday, August 9, 2026. He was born in Savannah to the late Leon and Geraldine Stokes. He was a resident of Jacksonville, FL before moving to Sardis. He was a retired carpenter and was a gifted musician and songwriter.
He is survived by two daughters, Amy Cicero (Josh) of Cumming, GA and Cari Alewel of Jacksonville, FL; seven grandchildren, Rachel, Alex, Austin, Christian, Emma, Noah, and Taeyln; a brother, Jeff Stokes (Marcia) of Sarasota, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
